Use Classes
Products also carry a use class. Classes 21 to 23 are residential, from light to heavy use. Classes 31 to 33 are commercial, from light to heavy use. Check both the AC rating and the use class on the packaging or product documentation.

- Bedrooms and studies: AC3 is usually enough.
- Busy homes, passages and open-plan areas: AC4.
- Offices: AC4. Busier commercial areas: AC5.
